Title: NEW: Ghost Squad Footage (Looks like RE:UC isn't the only exclusive Wii Shoot-em up!)

From Sega, looks pretty decent.

Edit: According to an article on the Gamespot's site, up to 4 people will be able to play at the same time.

Yeah, if there is one genre Sega usually does well, it's arcade style shooters.

Um, looks like a Virtua Cop wannabe complete with dissapearing enemies and repetitious enemy designs, I'd much rather get a HoD game.

They can at least start with porting HoD3, that shouldn't be that hard!

If Sega goes full tilt on Wii light gun games, then that leaves Namco as the big stupid head, what with Time Crisis IV coming out at an increased price on the PS3...

OHHH duh. Sorry it's late (5 am), I guess I should say early.

House of the Dead would be fantastic, I got HoD2 for DC and I still have the 2 light guns for it ^^.

Oh and I don't hate Godzilla! ::hides his 'I hate Godzilla' posters::

If the game is four player, yet there are several occasions where  there are two groups of two people in separate areas, doesn't that mean multiple television screens will be needed, when considering the genre being discussed?

How many people can play Mario Soccer online?  Four?  How many Wii's can connect together in that game?  Two?  I think the evidence yields this expectation, whether it's true or not.

There's talk at IGN's previews suggesting that NBA Live 08 can have two-console, 8-player play. It'd be an awesome addition if this sort of thing could happen for Ghost Squad... but it IS Sega we're talking about.

If the Ghost Squad teams break up, to cover different areas, and this is a 4 player game... it either has to be online enabled or have a wireless system link setup for separate TVs. Either or Both would be awesome.

But, yea, i'm not holding my breath. And some kind of single TV split screen would just be terrible, I'd think.

I think this game looks interesting and I enjoyed the gameplay video.

Even if it is W/LAN enabled I think they keep a split screen option in.
