This really does not bode well for FFXIII on PS3 if they can't even show a new video of it. Makes me wonder what exactly is going on behind the scenes.

I had my doubts about FFXIII not being on PS3 but....with it NOT being shown at E3 this year it certainly doesn't look good for Sony.
PS3 not having ANY FF game at all shown is not going to go over well. (edit: for PS3 owners that is haha)

I am amazed they aren't showing any PS3 games, I mean there is even a FF franchise game coming to PS2 and Xbox 360!

Maybe they're just holding back some stuff that they're gonna show later as a sort of surprise. I'm shocked that even Last Remnant isn't here, and it makes no sense to me that FFXIII isn't there... maybe they'll be there in looping trailer form though?

If FFXIII doesn't show up at the Tokyo Game Show, I'll be more suspicious. And you know, The Crystal Bearers isn't on that list either. This is clearly a DS show for Square-Enix, not surprising seeing as DS is the current biggest money maker in the entire games market. Or maybe publishers just aren't going all out for mini-E3.

Yeah but still it is odd that PS3 is the only system left out on that list.

Well, when SE said they weren't going to be starting any more games for the PS3 until the user base situation can get sorted out I thought there was a strong hit of an indefinite hold being put on their current PS3 titles as well. Considering that they're not showing anything is a bad, bad sign. I don't care how many DS titles they have at the show. Besides, they even have DQS on video! Even if all they ran was the same trailer from last year that would at least be something. And not only are they not showing XIII but they're not showing XIII Vs. either. Nor are they showing Last Remnant. It's been more than a year. Some major progress has to have been made on at least one of those titles... hasn't it?
Something is very, very wrong in PS3 land.

Be pretty interesting if they cancelled FFXIII VS, or shifted development to the Wii... while letting their main FFXIII go to PS3 since they have little recourse.

NOOOOOOOOOO........ I was really hoping for a playable version of Swords so I know what the translation be like...
Actually looking at that line up its all portables. lol. I can see the conference now.
"Ok everyone who has a PSP here or a DS. Here are the gamecards/UMDs to play the game and we have some loaners for the slackers. We'll be playing this video in the background. Enjoy."
With all the shows there just wasn't the budget for a spectacular.

Looking at this line-up, one thing is clear: Square Enix needs to translate its games faster. Seriously, this time last year I was quite excited about DQ Joker, but with Dragon Quest IX coming to DS eventually, I don't really care anymore.
I figure by the time DQ Swords actually comes out here, some "real" RPGs will have been announced and I won't be interested in buying it, either.
