Yet again US is getting passed up for the better stuff because of our early adoption. I want 61Mbps. I'm sure we all do. You can't get even close to that without paying out the nose in the States and why is Canada, no offencse, beating us?

Cuz Canadialand is more like one big state, so infrastructural costs are considerably lower due to comparatively smaller urban densities?

As for our place on the list - I'm not that surprised. It's just anecdotal evidence, but I know a ton of people who either can't afford Broadband, or are just content with dial-up (parents, grandparents, etc). Sad but true.

I'll just let you know that in March this year, 1Mbit DSL became available here..... at U$S50/month....
