Title: We love the Wii
Post by: nintendo_star on May 29, 2007, 08:20:59 AM
I just got a Wii today for my birthday, and it is awesome! I also had a Playstation 3, and compared to the Wii.. ..no comparison. We (my father and I) thinks the Wii wins! Anyway, can somebody tell me the top five games for the Wii ({excluding Legend of Zelda}{I waited for that game for five-and-a-half years}) :p

Happy Birthday
Checkout: Godfather, Warioware, Trauma Center, Red Steel and Super Paper Mario

You should also consider Excite Trucks: one of the most fun games I've ever tried! DBZ: Tenkaichi Budokai 2 is also great if you like the anime and/or fun fighting games in general.

I defer to Ty as to when we should IP ban Union Pentagon/ARO/nintendo_star.

You guys are mean! OOoooohhh!!!
Anyways, it depends on what type of gamer you are:
A Nintendo gamer would advance straight for Super Paper Mario, do not pass go do not collect 599 US dollars.
A traditional hardcore gamer would appreciate Godfather if they hadn't picked it up yet. It's GTA in the 1950's, but infinitely more playable, more beatable, and with awesome controls where you actually punch, shoot, and strangle with both your hands.
Gamers with a taste for the esoteric, looking for innovation and stuff that can't be found elsewhere, would be intrigued by the quite hardcore surgery sim Trauma Center, or the FPS-turned-suburban-trasure-hunt Elebits. Or even the minigame-esque, totally weird Cooking Mama.
Gamers who want mini-games characterized by wackiness and humor would find Wario Ware right up their alley, and Raving Rabbids marred only by a LOT of clunky menus to navigate.
And there are a couple other games that would suit some players' tastes. Golf fans are apparently buying up Tiger Woods happily. old school gamers don't find much to complain about in Sonic and the Secret Rings. And SSX Blur strikes some people as hard, and others as awesomely natural to snowboard with.

Why do I get the feeling someone is going to try to use this message against me?

Quote Originally posted by: thatguy No, that's not random. In fact, it was a provoked response.
Similar to someone knocking on the door at your house, and you getting up to answer it, his ringer is itching to do something. I wonder what could provoke an itchy finger?
E=mc^2 %-) By the way, you misspelled finger - "ringer". (as if I have room to talk)

What an accusation! What would I have to gain? Besides that, it says "edited by whatever" at 6:09 P.M., and my next message was posted at 6:06 P.M. So you moddified your statement after I posted my next statement.

Well, I did fix the spelling error, but I didn't even say a thing about fingers up there.

I love the Wii and have one myself, but it's a shame they're discontinuing it next year.

Don't lie, this fad system will die out long before next year. The graphics aren't next-gen enough.
