Title: Disney's Meet the Robinsons
Post by: that Baby guy on April 16, 2007, 09:10:31 AM
While I really know nothing about the game, nor do I know much about the movie, I just saw a commercial for this game one television. The strange thing is, although the game is being released on several platforms (think TMNT here), the advertisement only advertised the Wii version. As in, it showed people playing the game, and at the end, rather than having eleventy-billion logos for all of the platforms it is on, it only showed Wii. The commercial was not made by Nintendo. It was not a "Wii would like to play." advertisement. It was entirely Disney produced, attempting poorly to mimic the style of these adds, though.
Could this become a popular trend? Advertising the game on the Wii specifically, and forgetting about the other versions?

I've seen commercials for the PS2 version (it mostly consists of game footage).
However, I do believe that this is a new trend waiting to happen. The Wii is in a class of its own, so you need commercials that get the job done.

There are a lot of muliplatform game commercials that only show one console at the end, but they always make 3 or versions of the commercial, basically exactly the same, but show a different console.
