Title: I have a confession to make
Post by: wandering on April 01, 2007, 01:28:47 AM
Some of you may have noticed that I tend to talk a lot about Ubisoft products, specifically about their positive aspects. I'd like to say I've been doing this just because I think they make good games. But, in reality, I'm what you might call a plant. I was hired by Ubisoft to promote their games to the Nintendo community. Posting on these forums (and others) has been my full-time job for the past several years.

The community I've become a part of, here at NWR, in the process of doing my job, has really affected me. Without ever intending to, I think I've made real connections, real friendships here. Because of that, the deception's just become too painful. That's why I'm going to quit my job at Ubisoft, and leave these forums. I was going to do this when I hit 5000 posts, but, I realized I've been delaying this long enough. So, I'm leaving today. Right now. You probably won't hear from me ever again.

Goodbye.

CONFESS! Oh wait. You must really suck at your job since I have yet to buy a Ubi game.

I liked UbiSoft before I ever paid attention to you.

Somehow I doubt that such a "full-time" job exists at any publisher.  It doesn't seem like there would be enough return on the investment.  But what do I know?

Only if you are female in a male dominated past time (case in point: Ubisoft and their "fragdolls")

Nevermind, I get it now...

I never know what the date is, especially on a weekend.

If you were good at your job, you'd be on staff

So S-U-P-E-R your the plant we just don't know for who.
Also the real fool is that Wandering is leaving.  He could work of Ubisoft for all I care.  I was doubting he leave at 5000 anyway. (Personally I don't mind ya staying)

It's all good, Wandering. This site has been funded by Nintendo for years. We're all just one person. Guess which one of us is real!
