Title: Before the Internet falls on top of me
Post by: Svevan on March 05, 2007, 10:40:43 PM
I want to document just how awful I've been.
February 2006: Low score for Shadow the Hedgehog February 2006: High score for Chibi-Robo May 2006: Middling impressions of Elebits at E3 May 2006: Negative impressions of Zelda at E3 Post E3 2006: Open letter to Nintendo about Zelda sucking December 2006: ZELDA IS A 9.5 DUE TO SUCK January 2007: Low score to Elebits due to suck March 2007: Low score to Secret Rings due to suck
I hope that, somehow randomly, there are eight Sonic fans reading NWR right now and that is why my review already has eight posts. I hope that, by God's grace, there will only be eight responses when I wake up. Why doesn't Chris Kohler get lambasted for his opinions? I think he's just as guilty. In fact, let's tear Game/Life down from the top to the bottom, rip it to shreds and spit on it. DOWN WITH GAME/LIFE AND ITS UNFAIR OPINIONS ABOUT SUCKY GAMES!
"And he called to the Internet and the Web and said 'fall on me.'"

I'm not a Sonic fan at all. I'm just querying your rationale for your comments.
Play that martyr card, boy. Play it fast!

You've convinced me to get Secret Rings, thank you. I was previously going to buy food for my brother to live another week.

You haven't read the opinions at Go Nintendo, Evy...
And don't worry too much about it. You are just following NWR's practice of harshly reviewing decent/solid/good games because of certain issues.
"Not good enough, F--!"
I'm sure I am not the only one that has noticed that NWR has been uber bitchy about games and giving them the lowest score possible.

I respect Chris Kohler. He's much more likeable in his writings. Oh snap!

^Proof that some of the NWR staff have a deranged bias against third-party games.
I think it is self-explanatory that the NWR readers are just as overcritical on the NWR staff as they are on reviewing games. Fair enough I guess.

Someone at GoNintendo called me a douche. This is a new high for me.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Yeah, I defended the game but I made my reasons clear.
However, I fully believe that you disliked the game and that the gameplay wasn't your thing. It was the control issues which I really didn't understand, as I had no issue with them myself (after a learning period, of course).
