Title: DS used for Cook Book in Japan
Post by: Koekoenutt on January 25, 2007, 12:52:57 PM
Read a recent article about Nintendo in deal with a Japanese company to create a "game", that will allow their cooks to say the recipe they want, and it popping up on screen. Thought it is interesting to see how the Japanese region has been picking up the DS for other uses than gaming. I know awhile back ago, there was an article about schools using it to teach the English language. Nothing really to interesting, but I wonder if the US will ever see the DS put into other use, other than gaming.

Here is the link to the Cook Book DS..

The original titles have been out for a while.  They even have a stand for the DS to make it more kitchen friendly.  Nintendo just shifted the development over to another company.

Don't forget about water-proofing your DS.  You'll need it to keep your touch screen sushi and marinara sauce free.
