Title: I gots way too many rupees!
Post by: KDR_11k on January 25, 2007, 02:45:40 AM
Is there anything you should actually spend these on? Okay, I got my magical armor but anything else? Makes me almost not want to go into dungeons because I can't take the treasures.

But there's nothing doing so much damage that I have a reason to!

But it's so stylish!  The "Link looks awesome" factor is worth the cost alone!

I was pumped when I picked up the magic armour but when I found out that it just ate rupees I was really disapointed. Seems like a total waste of time to get.

I spent a lot of time standing around in front of treasure chests wearing that armour just waiting for my Rupees to drop down low enough from the maximum so that I could get the Rupees in the chest.  :/

It's pretty dumb when you have to revisit dungeons like the Water Temple just to clear out some chests...I think some of those were meant to be bombs of a different type than you have bomb bags for (yet).

That happen to me a lot.  I didn't get the armor till the end of the game pretty much.  In a way I sort of wish they have a "magic" arrow bag that would treat arrows like back in the day. (every arrow costs a rupee.  You didn't have an actual arrow pool it just took from Rupees.)

That TP is way rupee-infested is old news.

It's pathetic there's so many rupee chests littered throughout dungeons to waste our time considering the dungeons were really short.

Another example of Nintendo making a game too easy with mostly glitz and glamour so that the mainstream wouldn't be turned off.

Majora's Mask did it right.  If you really needed quick cash, you just simply killed the Mr. Burns vulture outside the road to Romani Ranch.  Better than walking to the ends of the world and finding treasure chests you can't clear off your dungeon map.
