Nintendo's worldwide sales target for the Wii was 4 million by the end of December. Worldwide figures aren't yet known, but we do the launch period figures in other regions: 600,000 in North America's first week and 325,000 in Europe's first two days. Obviously, the Wii has been selling non-stop since then, but there are now over 2 million consoles accounted for. Will Nintendo meet their sales target?

I figured you'd be happier to see the people who singled you and me out and ridiculed us for preordering coughing up black feathers.

Originally posted by: VGrevolution Well I admit that was quite refreshing, though I will also admit that I never expected the Wii to take off like it has. I expected there was a good chance it would sell out on launch day quickly, but also thought they wouldn't be too bad to locate in a few weeks after launch. Boy was I wrong about that! Sure I thought Wii had tons of potential and expected good things (unlike GC), but nothing like this.
