I honestly hope it's Brawl... I might seem like a masochist with that remark, but I would be willing to welcome any delays if it means improving the game before release, considering this title, beyond any other, will be most likely to keep me coming back for more years after release.

woke up feeling sicker than the previous day with a really bad sore throat. I realized i woke up late so i rushed in getting ready for work slipped in the shower slightly and bumped my head into the wall.
my car didnt start right away so that was irritating me, and when it finally did start it felt like i was getting every red light ever.
i was lucky enough to find parking not too far from the subway station i take into manhattan for work, so i thought my luck was changing. As im walking down the street to the subway a homelessman/crackhead said something to me. i was listening to music so i didnt hear him, but i pulled down my headphones to see what he said. he mumbled something about change then flashed a gun at me... he put it away because a police car was at a red light near us and he just walked away.
i got to work about an hour and a half late. normally no one notices becuase the store is packed beyond capacity so i can slip in undetected... not today. it was actually calm. everyone noticed, because 8 different people were scheduled for the same time, and no one was scheduled to come in after 10..great. work itself wasnt hard, i was manning the Wii demostations but i began losing my voice shouting over the loud music and all the talking. i was so close to getting this one girls phone number but i couldnt ge the words out fast enough because it pained me to talk, adn just when i got the words out to get her attention, three people started talking to me at once so i missed my chance.
manhattan was packed. i had to walk 10 blocks to get to my train because the closest one was blocked because of NYC new years celebration. i was very cranky. the subway was packed but atleast i knew my car was waiting for me when i got off the train and i'd be home soon enough.
New Years Day: 12:00 2007
got tooottally wasted with my best friend in my house. just the two of us, and some redbull & vodka. i have never been drunk before and by god did it feel good. we put on some music, sang to it, then i whipped out the guitar adn i played along to whatever i could. then i busted out the bongos for him and the congas for me and we jammed for like an hour, screaming our asses off to whatever came on.
later that night he threw up, i made drunken phone calls, and i coughed up blood on several occasions and my voice is completely shot. Now im started to feel slightly hung over and my wiimote batteries are dead... he's passed out in the oth er room and has to go to work soon.

Wow glad to hear everything turned out ok.
My new years eve started at 4:30pm when I cracked open a bottle of rum. Around 9:30 we went to a buddies house for a party, and busted out the tequila. 11pm I smoked my yearly cuban cigar to bring in the new year. 12:30 had some more rum. 1:30, on the floor.
Overall a great start to 2007. Let's hope we get some good surprises (haha), or any good tidbits of information on Nintendo (games, online w/e).

I certainly drank less than last year, but it was much more fun because I could remember the stupid stuff I did.
Like throwing some ugly, stupid chick's shoes into the bushes. And laughing while she looked for them. And then continuing to laugh until she left.
And singing Kylie Minogue songs on Singstar (which I'm terrible at, but peer pressure and alcohol offset that problem)
And doing Jager-bombs (tastes like children's Panadol for those who are curious)
And rocking out like some sort of AC-DC wannabe (yes, think Thunderstruck and you'll be close)
And then chilling out with a couple of friends to discuss philosophy and other issues like fistworthiness (RAB would be so proud), throwing responsibility out the window for the short-term and how awesome 2007 will be.
Yeah, it was awesome.
And this doesn't even include the awesomeness that was Friday night - beer, Wii, Buzz, breaking buzzers, hijacking my friend's MSN chat to call out homosexuals and hot chicks, and then hitting the scotch to top the night off.
PS - the Singstar song was "I Should Be So Lucky". I couldn't maintain my composure for most of that song, trying to sing it at a normal pitch, and just gave up midway through. Shrieking I SHOULD BE SO LUUUUUCKY, LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY while shimmying will scarred in the memories of everyone else at that party.
