Um, does anyone remember a game called XIII? It's a cel-shaded first person shooter that looks really cool, but i havent heard anything about it lately, wasnt it supposed to be out last year or something? Does anyone know what im talking about?

Yeah, I remember it.  PGC actually has it slated to release this month.  I haven't heard too much about it though.  Hopefully it hasn't been canceled.  It looked pretty cool.  I should come out sometime this summer, I'm guessing.

I am so going to get this game. I dunno why, but a cel shaded fps just rules. I saw a video clip and it is really cool in motion.

ebgames has the pc and xbox versions slated for release in september and october

PC and xbox? What about the Gamecube version? Yeah, i saw the clip too and it looks really awesome in motion, like Wind Waker, but its an fps and not as good. So September, damn this game got a huge delay then.

Gamespot updated with info on XIII.  Noted PC/PS2/XBOX info, but nothing further on GCN.

Love the story idea - just hope it ends up on my cayube.

Has anyone tried the recently released PC demo of XIII?

Im really interested in this game, ive been looking at screenshots and movies of it, and reading about it and it looks awesome! Im definately getting this game, if not on GC then PC.

Well, it's been in development for a really long time, at least it'll be a solid FPS.

According to IGN it's due for release on the Gamecube October 9th. The game sounds great- it's based on a French comic book and really retains a lot of the comic book style. When you shoot a guy in the head you get multiple panels of his brains being blown out- wonderful.

The PC demo is out????????  I am SO over that.

Btw, as much as I hate to do this... if I buy the game, it will be for PC.  I don't believe in playing FPS games on consoles when better options present themselves.

EDIT:  Can you give me a link to that demo?  I can't seem to find it.

EDIT2:  Ah screw it.  I don't want it.  I dislike the French language, and I dislike downloading weird download managers that I have never heard of, and will never use again.  2 wrongs > 1 right.

It's at some French site. You need to download some kind of program with it though. I'll just go get you a link....

Seems a lot of famous people are in this game which is cool.

ill look into it for PC, im a FPS gamer on pc only, need my mouse and keyboard to win ;P i used to get pwned in golden eye cause it wasn't as fast paced as say TFC, so when no-one was looking i would put it on fast motion and have an advantage
