Title: Best Buy Shipment of Wiis...

So I asked a couple of salespeople at my local Best Buy when the next shipment of Wii's was coming in, and they said that they're holding them until Sunday. Can anybody confirm/deny this? I've read online that they may be shipping for Black Friday, and when I called Best Buy they told me nothing. What gives?

At launch apparently the manager told a few people that they had a bunch of units and they were holding them till next sunday. I didn't believe the rumor at first, but with all these other reports coming out I guess it was true. Which is bullshit.

Well I kind of like it, because it means I can come in really early and definitely get one, rather than just wandering in and praying as per usual.

It sounds about right. I used to work at best buy, and when the ds lite came out, we would get a shipment of ds lites but would have to hold onto many of them because they are mentioned in the sunday ad. Because its in the ad, they want to have it available.

What I REALLY want to know is if Nintendo is planning on sending more Wii units to stores...

In my area gamestop is saving them for black friday. Most stores don't seem to know exactly when they arrive. I suggest you find out what time the store recieves shipment and call soon after every day. I grabbed one from the second shipment luckily so they are coming, they are just selling out fast.

Depends on the store or area I think. Target said they recieved more already and sold out and the Walmart in my area obviously got more.
