Title: How much can you get for a used GameCube?
Post by: AtomPowerd on March 09, 2003, 04:38:10 PM
Okay... now don't just flame me to a pulp. I'm not (God forbid) selling my GameCube. I'm thinking of buying one for my friend. I've shafted him for four years straight on his B-Day and I'd like to do something really cool. Now, my sister bought one a while back for her husband who just doesn't play it anymore and she's thinking of selling it to a Funcoland type store. I told her she'd probably only be getting store credit, and now she doesn't know what to do. Enter me, I kinda have to lowball her because I'm crazy poor, but I want to be fair. Do you think $100 is too low for a used GC + 4 Controllers + 1 or 2 Games? Should I go higher? Keep in mind this is family... but also keep in mind we don't get along perfectly. What would Funcoland give her?
Thanks All!

Screw Funcoland. Go to ebay and browse the gamecube systems, go to the 'going, going, gone' listings and you'll get a good idea of what final bids are coming out at. I can nearly guarantee you'll get more for your stuff, and you'll get it in cash.
