Title: NES Cover Project!
Post by: UncleBob on October 25, 2006, 05:41:10 AM
In the tradition of the GBA Cover Project (which we talk about here), I present to you: The NES Cover Project:

Well, sorta.  I'm trying to get an NES Cover Project off the ground.  It's crazy, I know, but I think it can work!

We've got people with the original boxes:

(Hopefully) We've got people with the skills and desire to photoshop (GIMP) them:

All we need now is to figure out a case to use (which I discuss in thecoverproject.net thread).

If you're interested, get on board!  This could be great!  Your children will love you!

I wouldn't mind hopping on this effort UncleBob, seems like a cool idea. I will look around for boxes, and report on anything I find in this thread. I wouldn't mind doing this for Virtual Boy games too, if anybody else is interested in that, NES first though.

As someone who is actively trying to collect every NES game, I *fully* support this movement.  I bought a few boxed games (Dr. Mario, Super Mario 3, Mega Man 3, Zoda's Revenge, Legendary Wings, Gologo 13, and Narc).
