Post by: Sean on March 06, 2003, 01:48:26 PM: From the news I've read, EA is backing the Cube in a big, big way with tons of software. That's cool--too bad I'm not a huge sports fan or I'd be jumping up and down, personally. As it stands, it's just good news for Nintendo in general.

As for sports, Sega's old WSB (Genesis and Saturn), Konami's International Superstar Soccer, and NBA Jam are about the only games that have really, really held me in their grasp for long years. I love NFL2K as well, of course, but I avoid football pretty actively, on the whole, in any incarnation--especially the televised kind. ;-)

So, woe is me who lives in Big Orange country--Knoxville, TN.

And what's this with Miyamoto-san's involvement? That is REALLY interesting!
I think we're getting closer to the 'see you stats on the GBA' era. Nintendo just needed something like this EA deal to see if it will work, and now I think it will. But then, 20 titles in 12 months? Holy Crap.
That's a lot.
At least we've got definite sports games coming, and MIyamoto-san was as good as his word from his D.I.C.E interview.
