For anyone who was wondering, it's basically a Mario Golf MMOG: add in leveling up, a shop, online play, and some illegal outfits and that's the game.
Also, this is proof that the Wii version HAS to be online. Without the online component, the game doesn't have anything going for it.

Pangya is indeed awesome, although I haven't played in a while. Hopefully PGCers are cool enough to like the game and we can play together

I tried playing both Mario Golf and Toadstool Tour but they failed to capture me as Mario Tennis has.
I just don't feel like playing any golf game.

From everything I've seen, the whole appeal of the game is online play. Subtract that and you have Mario Golf without the Mario universe, but with jailbait caddies.

I did some reading into why there was no Online play and it seems like one reason could be that Tecmo didn't get the dev kit for WiiConnect24 till 6 months into the development of the games (Sounds like a problem alot of other Developers had) and they desided to focuse on a Singel player mode more cause of that reason. There will be multiplayer mode in the game and they have said that the game is much differnt from the Online version and that this verion is about getting people to play differntly but in the fun world of Pangya (Almost sounds like this could have been turned into DoA Xtream Golf if they wanted to). They are looking into putting downloadable content for the game so thats cool.
Based on interviews I do have alot of hope that Pangya 2 will have Online play.
I was disapointed for a bit, but after reading the interviews I'm back to being very excited about it.

Offline, you have the one you play as and your caddie.
Online, you have tournaments of four loli players, four loli caddies. That's 16 different lolis in the span of five minutes, all different outfits, that clocks in at 3.2 LPMs.
You can't argue with 3.2 Lolis per minute. Don't even try.

I think it is the Kai character, was he inserted by Temco or an orginal character. I say this because in the gallery there is an awfully well done piece of 3D CG work that stands out from the rest of the pics and shows the character fighting a monster with another character blurred in the background with a sword. (I say stands out because it is done in a non loli stlye but still in pastles, well sort of. I have only unlocked two pics one with Kasumi and a group pic of Kasumi, Ryu and another person I cannot ID, and those are done in the same way the other pics are done. I was just wondering because this could be a teaser.
I will try to get a good pic of the pic and put it on photobucket.
