Title: always on with channels

the always on idea was great..because it let you "call" your friends for an online game, now its even better with wii channels which let you access content tv style. Nintendo isnt just going online...they're reinventing it.

I agree, maybe the games themselves may take a little while to get online, but Nintendo is showing a vast amount of dedication this round to online itself, just with the console.

The more I look at the whole Channel idea the more I like it. There are some really cool features included in the channels. Plus it fits into the whole TV theme, so it will be more accessible by non-gamers. It's like TV of the 21st century. The prices and release date was a bit of a hard knock for me, but all the other stuff I've seen is making me really excited for the Wii. Not to mention Thanksgiving break starts for me the weekend the Wii releases. That leaves me 2 WEEKS of non stop Wii play time.
