I have Simpsons Road Rage.  The real crime is not that I have it though, but that I really, really like it.

I also bought this one guy's collection of NES games, many of which are horrible.  I'd have to say Tag Team Wrestling takes the cake, in fact it's possibly the worst game I've ever played.  Also hilarious from that collection:
- WWF Wrestling games x 2
- Total Recall
- Operation Rescue (actually kind of neat for a while)

I remember everything!

I remember every little thing
As if it happened only yesterday

I was barely seventeen,
And I once killed a boy with a Fender guitar

I don't remember if it was a Telecaster or a Stratocaster
But I do remember that it had a heart of chrome
And a voice like a horny angel

I don't remember if it was a Telecaster or a Stratocaster
But I do remember that it wasn't at all easy

It required the perfect combination of the right power chords
And the precise angle from which to strike

The guitar bled for about a week afterward
And the blood was so dark and rich, like wild berries
The blood of the guitar was Chuck Berry red

The guitar bled for about a week afterward,
But it rung out beautifully
And I was able to play notes
That I had never even heard before

So I took my guitar,
And I smashed it against the wall
I smashed it against the floor
I smashed it against the body of a varsity cheerleader
Smashed it against the hood of a car
Smashed it against a 1981 Harley Davidson

The Harley howled in pain,
The guitar howled in heat

And I ran up the stairs to my parents' bedroom
Mommy and Daddy were sleeping in the moonlight

Slowly I opened the door, creeping in the shadows
Right up to the foot of their bed
I raised the guitar high above my head
And just as I was about to bring the guitar
Crashing down upon the center of the bed,
My father woke up, screaming "Stop!"
"Wait a minute! Stop it boy!
What do ya think you're doin'?
That's no way to treat an expensive musical instrument!"

And I said: "God Dammit Daddy!
You know I love you,
But you got a hell of a lot to learn about Rock 'n Roll"

Tom Cruise will be paying you a visit for your WEAKNESS!

Also killing a man doesn't count. You will have to fill in form 21B and mail it hell or the local U.S army recuitment office. your lack of skill will be made use of.

Donkey Kong for the Atari 2600. How bad is it? Well, I thought the fireballs in the second (of two) levels were ducks. Though having never played the arcade game, I enjoyed it at the time.

Quest 64 is on my list of 'games no one liked but I really want to get them anyway because I think I'll probably like them.'

Also on that list: Clocktower for playstation.

I own an Atari Flashback console.

Also I own The Little Mermaid for Gameboy, Pocahontas too but honestly that game wasn't bad. What else? Oh yeah I own Fire Emblem on gamecube. It's terrible pretty much, I especially hate the children and blue haired characters.

Quest 64, or Holy Magic Century as it's named in respetable countries, isn't actually that bad. It's just so bland and mediocre in every way.

- I own two N-Gage games, yet I don't own an N-Gage to play them on. One game was free (Sonic N), but I actually paid MONEY for the other (Puyo Pop). I actually nearly bought Spider-Man 2 on N-Gage for $1.25 yesterday but they couldn't find the cartridge out back. I will buy MORE games for it if I see them cheap enough, nobody can stop me!

- I thought Cruis'n USA was brilliant. Cruis'n World, not so much.

- Pokemon Channel is one of my favorite 'games' on GameCube.

- I prefer the Master System to the NES. BY FAR. TAKE THAT.

- I own an Atari Lynx with several games.

- I own an e-Reader.

- I own Bubsy 3D.

- I paid $100 for Sonic Heroes.

- I've thought about buying Digimon Rumble Arena 2 because it has Renamon in it.

- I enjoy Simple 2000 games.

Your lack of shame disgusts me. Satan shall be pleased.

I currently spend more money on Anime than on games.

I own and kind of enjoy Ren & Stimpy: Veediots on Super Nintendo.

I sold Crystalis without ever finishing it.

I also gave up on Castlevania II and Super R-Type, but I don't really feel that bad about those.

These are just things I'm ashamed of as a gamer, not all purchases.

-I had a Ren and Stimpy game for the Genesis that I loved (and still do <3).
-I also had a Power Rangers side-scrollin' beat-em-up for the Genesis which is awesome, I like it more than that Final Fight crap.
-My N64 games are like a collection of failed mascots, Glover, Buck Bumble, Rocket, Gex etc.  I love them all.
-I used to be a pretty big Madden and FIFA fan (actually World Cup '98 for the win, still is an awesome game)
-I got pretty far in FFVIII and thought it was fun.
-I don't really like Sonic, except for Sonic and Knuckles and Sonic 2.  I've never beaten any Sonic game.
-I have a 32x for my genesis, although really I was like five when it came out and my grandma bought it for christmas
-Pikmin 2 sucks.
-I've had countless hours of fun with SSX Tricky and SSX3.
-I paid full price for Agent Under Fire and Spiderman lol
-I can't even play Partners in Time because I am consumed with boredom.
-I think the first two Zeruda games suck.
-SMB3 sucks.  Actually no, I take it back.  But I still don't really like it, I have as much fun playing SMB2.
-I pirate every PC game I can, as well as anime, roms, and music, and I don't care!
-I really liked Donkey Kong 64
-I hate goldeneye and perfect dark
-Metroid Prime 2 sucks
-QUEST 64 WAS FUN.  I should download the rom lol play it again sometime.
-Dreamcast is the worst system ever and I feel $30 for the system and some games went to waste.

Uhh, there's probably more!

Oh good one Couch Monkey. that reminds me of the years I spent playing Ren and Stimpy TIME WARP on SNES!

I downloaded a Sailor Moon RPG rom for SNES this one time and spent over an hour playing it.

I enjoyed Quest 64 except for you had to grind before you could go to the next level even after you were done.  By the end of the game I choose the right path so no one could touch me and I beat them all up with My Cinnamon Bun of Power.

I took back what I said about SMB3.  It doesn't SUCK, but I don't really like it.  SMB3 and SMB2 are both about the same for me.

But I could play SMW over and over and over again.

Proof that KnowsNothing is, at best, someone who loves a franchise but can't beat a single game from it, and, at worst, a bald-faced liar.. I especially like thee "assuming they don't let you win by hold right the whole time" part, in light of recent revelations..

Wow, that just moved WAY up on my "Kill someone to get it if you have to" list.  The 2D part looked awesome (that is, assuming they don't let you win by hold right the whole time :P, and the 3D boss was way better than I expected.

I give it:

Sonic Rush LOOKED GOOD.  Too bad it isn't!

Plus, in Sonic Rush you pretty much CAN hold right the entire time to win, until you get to, uhh, can't remember the world.  Whatever.  It's boring so I don't care.

Also, Pikmin 1 is one of the most fantasitc games ever made.

As soon as I opened this thread I thought about my copy of Quest 64.  I can't believe so many of you people like it.  Send me $3 for shipping and I'll mail it to you.  I'll even throw in a free copy of War Gods.  I have the boxes, manuals, Nintendo Power inserts and even the original plastic bags that the cartridges came wrapped in.

I also own a (used) copy of Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt for SNES.  The game actually wasn't that bad, but it was full of cheap deaths and impossible to finish levels.  Bill should make a video review.

Anybody remember the game 8 Eyes for the NES? I'm not sure if it qualifies as a guilty purchase, but it's basically a Castlevania rip-off.

It's a sidescrolling platformer, and you're this guy with a hawk, and you have to find these 8 jewels to Save the Land! The hawk was actually pretty cool, because it could be controlled by a 2nd player, and could clear out other platform levels before the fragile and vulnerable guy character had to climb a ladder and get his butt kicked by them. The bird only had one attack if I remember correctly - Dive - down+B or something... Man, that game was tough. But fun!

I bought Mega Man Anniversary Collection just for Mega Man: The Power Battles as I owned all the other games in their original format.
