Title: Raid Over the River

Gamesarefun.com posted a short tech demo (just game footage and no sound) of RotR and to that footage the graphics on this DS game is beautiful. Its a SHMUP with a style that looks like a mixture of Ikaruga and 1942(the capcom arcade shooter) here is the link: http://gamesarefun.com/news.php?newsid=6733. This game is also supposed to have a Wii version as well and if Nibris can pull off a game that well then I have better hopes with the game Sadness for the Wii.

I saw that footage a couple of days ago, hopefully this shmup will be better than Nanostray, it's not that Nanostray isn't good, it's just that it just had some control flaws that...well...it just didn't make it perfect.

I like how much vertical screen realestate you get. I think that's a better use of the two screens than using the bottom for a useless radar. I dig shmups, so I'm lookin' forward to this.

I think Nibris might have a good collective head on its collective shoulder. The more I hear from them, the more I learn, the more I'm excited for their games.
Looking nice. I never bought Nanostray because I heard mixed things and can never find it cheap, so hopefully this will end up being an easy choice. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, this looks good, I may wait for reviews, but it's definitely on my watch list...need to support indepedent developers, you know!
