I noticed on the forum it states that on Mon November 01, 2004 there were 1383 registered users on during that time. Was there anything significance to that date that caused such a swarm of people?

I've been wondering that for a while as well. But i do know that someone already made a topic on it a few months back. No-one actually gave an answer though.

It's a mystery to me. I guess it was a server bug or a visit from slashdot or something.

I always thought it was just a redo of the forum and the administrator had to have all the current members at the time logged in to get stuff straightenned out. I've been wondering that to.

Thats it. Thats all you fine if you set the search to only search that day, which by the why it will search from that day, with the word the which is the most common word I could think of.
