Anyway, I personally think it looks good if its legit (can't say one way or the other at this stage). However, if this is indeed another "locked camera style" of game I probably won't be getting it though.

If it is RE Wii, then I am happy. I want the first Wii game to use prerendered backgrounds. Then later, I would like a first person RE with real time environments but with the classic, what was that, gameplay.
I want to see the Wii remote tried first on the slower paced model of the original 2.5D games. 2D gaming is not dead. The remote control can bring new life to the old form just as it can be used to create something entirely new. The aiming will work in third person with Nintendo's controller better than MS' in first person.
Once they get a hold of developing for Wii, then they should do a real time RE game unlike any before it. Something similar to the early build of RE4 with free roaming first person controls?

Screen above is a screen cap of Residen Evil "Remake" I took in less than 5min thanks to a lucky save file I had for the typewriter in the room to the right of Chris Redfield (bonus costume #1).
This is GoNintendo acknowledging it's a fake after I sent the screen cap to them.
You guys wear MUD for contact lenses.
