Title: Anime Expo and the DS

It was great this year.  There were DS's and DSL's in lines all over the place.  Last year, I only saw PSPs.  This year, I only saw DS's.  The only part that upset me was that I forgot to pack my charger and only had about 10 hours of play with my sexy DSL.  It's nice to see that the DS is definitely more popular, at least in the anime crowd and I'm guessing it'll take over the general public soon as well.

Actually, I did a chat with a full room of 16 people.  Many were asking to play some NSMB or Mario Kart.

odd thing is that it seems there are more anime games on PSP rather than DS....

oh well, I'll be happy when the DS gets a (Z/V/G/Turn A)Gundam(ZZ/F91/W/X/SEED/SEED Destiny)/Mai (Z)HiME/Soukyuu no Fafner game....

avcon ( http://www.avcon.org.au/files/schedule.pdf ) is this weekend, had 20+ ds last year, played a few games with strangers with first hunt
should have more this time, with mario kart and hunter touraments

Not odd. The PSP is for people who are easily swayed by advertising and don't bother to read reviews.
