Title: Splinter Cell 480p?
Post by: GregLee on July 06, 2006, 04:20:27 PM
Is "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell" compatible with progressive scan? It says so on the box, but I've tried two used copies and no go.

I think they are, to activate progressive scan you need the component cables and a gamecube that has the component cable port and if you have the component cables (orange, green, blue) hold the B button while the gamecube is booting up.

Yes, you're right. It does 480p. I wiggled my component cable connection to the GC, and 480p started working. A little looseness or corrosion, I guess.
