Title: President Bush gets what he's always needed
Post by: Donutt007 on July 06, 2006, 08:21:28 AM
Finally.... President gets Brain Age

HAHA, Nintendo sent President Bush a DS lite and a copy of Brain Age for his birthday.....that's awesome.

I think every world leader should play Nintendo games anyway.  Then the world would be peaceful and full of love and cooperation and happiness and any problems would be resolved with multiplayer matches at the UN.

Regardless of political leanings, I personally think everyone should find this pretty cool, and classy for Nintendo.

I hope it made to the President ok, and I hope he actually tries it out.  Personally, I think he will.  He just seems like that kinda guy, that would try a gift atleast once.

"We have a saying here in Texas...I don't know if you guys have it, but here it goes...

Fool me once....If you fool me, shame on you...

Fool me twice...well *pause* fool me again....

Well you can't fool me"

Hahaha -- how did he get elected again?!

Anyway, I hope when he opened his DSL it had trumpets like the press version.

The American public got fooled.  Twice.  I really didn't think he should've been re-elected (especially since he shouldn't've been elected in the first place) but somehow it happened.

But, ah, of course I'm not going to like him, because I'm a Liberal Canadian who likes things like stem cell research and not raping the environment.  Let's not get started on politics.

As Spak-Spang says, regardless of political leanings, it really is a cool idea.  I know Bush has an iPod (they made a big deal last year, I think, about what he had on "iPod One") and since Nintendo's going for the Apple look these days he might be curious about the DS Lite (if he isn't already) based on look alone.

Someone send Stephen Harper a DS Lite.  Even if it's not his birthday.

There was a news story about Kim Jong-Il this morning.  I bet he'd like Advance Wars: Dual Strike.

Nintendo should wait until one of those leaders summit dealies and then give gifts to all the attending world leaders at the same time.

Except for the dictators.  They get nothing.

Check this link out Here

It's where that qoute above came from (though now that I watched it again, it is rather inaccurate).

let's keep this in talkback since I really don't want to monitor two threads that could easily go off course
