Miyamoto was discussing GBA connectivity and after saying this year they will show FFCC he said this!
And note, he said versionS, not verion, but VERSIONS! :S:S:S

Well, a Cube Pokemon game was already announced that was said to "require" the GBA games and would be sold at a very cheap price. Don't remember if it was made official, but everyone wrote it off as merely PokeSta instead of a full-on 3D RPG version of the series. And I think the "versions" thing is a nit-picking and that it is merely a grammatically-correct-sounding typo made in the rush to type out a transcript from a long audio recording.
