Post by: BestGamerPeriod on March 02, 2003, 06:49:35 AM
How does the Digital output cable that you connect to the gamecube and then then to your TV work.
  Where can I buy it???
When I connect it to my gamecube where does it go on the TV.
Whats the s-video cable? and how is it suppose to conect to your gamecube when it doesn't have an S-Video Cable output???

   AND ANY FURTHER INFORMATION!!!

          Thanks a bunch!!!!!

P.S. If i could get ricks help it would really help too.

You have 2 options 1) go on Nintendo's online store and buy the S-cables or 2) look for the Monster cables (I think they made S-cables.

Digital video output and S-video output are two entirely different things.

The only place you can by the Component Video cable (digital) is from the Nintendo Store online I believe.  You're only going to need this if you have a progressive scan TV (pretty much only the newer, more expensive TVs).

As for S-Video.  There are tons of 3rd party made ones as well as Nintendo branded one which isn't necessarily any better.  Theres a Mad Catz, Pelican, Target brand, Monster brand, etc.   If you're TV has S-Video input and does not have component, then you want this guy.  One end will fit into the GC, while the other end will fit into the S-Video plug on TV.
