Title: CoD 3
Post by: bustin98 on June 12, 2006, 06:24:44 PM
Two images of the Wii version of Call of Duty 3 is available in EGM. They are small so not much detail is visible.  Not much detail is provided on gameplay as the 360 version is the main bulk of the article. Though it will be available on the Wii at launch. And multi-player has not been nailed down (please have online play).

Nothing else in the mag is interesting, even the rumor section is late to the party.

What? no multiprayer!?

Then it deserves rock-bottom sales at launch.

-2 for Activision
-10 for Nintendo

BURRRRRRN

THis better not be a sign of sh*t to come.

I will be pissed as hell if the Wii gets a cross platform game and it's tarded up.

"Hey let's use the new controller, BUT LET'S THROW OUT MULTIPLAYER!"  Cuz you know a lot of people are just going to g1mm1ck-ify a game here and there.  I'd hate to get a title that's essentially downgraded AND is missing features.  (Now I know how 360 fans feel like.)

Something about it doesn't surprise me though....

Yeah it funny considering that Nintendo likes to make it consoles multiplayer friendly. And what I know of how the Wii does local stuff it should be easier than the Xbox to implement Local Play unless Nintendo doesn't have anything ready to help third parties with local play like they did with the Gamecube.

May it rot in the clearance bin if there's no online.

You know from my understanding the Networking stuff for the Cube was straight forward and as simple as it is on a computer.  Open Socket, push data.  Which was a shame that only Sega really took advantage of it.  But this time around it's 100% built in and I'm sure Nintendo has some really good example code because they want the games where it fits to use it.  If CoD 3, which if Memory serves is a series known for Online play, does not have online then Ninja's should take sweet sweet revenge on whoever made that decision.  I can see why MP wouldn't but not this.

We do not (cannot legally) post scans of EGM's images, and EA decided not to release these assets until today. Sorry, but gaming rags get their information two months in advance to compensate for printing.

I wasn't saying that scans from the mag should be put here (they weren't that great of quality anyhow) but why have two more threads on Call of Duty when there already was one?

So your telling me that if we had a "Print" Version of PGC we get are news earlier.  So how much would it cost for us Forum people to subscribe to the Magazine version.  (Made with the company laser printer )
