You are still horrible at posting images within guidelines
I looked in the PGC rules, announcements and discussions; there is nothing about image guidelines. There is talk about avatar pic/file sizes but nothing about regular pics & gifs.
Would someone like to either point me in the right direction or clarify for better understanding?
last pic/gif posted was < 350kb and hosted on approved bandwidth, where did I go wrong?
p.s. Announcement says that there are 27 topics, but if I click on it it says there are no topics.

Go into your personal options and change the setting for how old posts have to be to show up for you, the default setting is likely set for something that is lower than the age of those posts.
As for the pic "rules", that feature was enabled not that long ago, although they shouldn't be enforcing "them" if they haven't even been added to the rules yet.

thanx for the info, I have now found what I was looking for...
Quote 640 pixels wide 100 kilobytes Nothing gross or riot-inciting in accordance with the rest of the rules. Still no images in signatures, please. I'll change it if you do!
I take it that those same guidelines for pictures also apply to gifs and other such animations?

I agree, it is time for someone to update the "rules" so that new users will also know these rules.

For the record, I don't care about size guidelines within the funhouse area

Beyond Wandering not delivering on the picture when I clicked the link. I was wondering what the bottom limit is. Can I have 640x<as far down as it will go in the 100kb> or is it 480. The only reason I ask is I'm trying to write a program that will adjust pictures to be put on the forum.

Why bother when there are already existing tools that are out there?
With a bit of scripting you can do it pretty easily.

There is 2 reasons why I like to do this: 1. Their's an API I like to fiddle with 2. I'm lazy and rather have something else figure out the 100kb thing as well
Though now that you have linked it I'll probably try to play around with that tool as well.
Edit: I actually see myself using that for the quick task... I'm sort of a command line junky even though I'm a Windows user.. Go Figure...
