Oh god... we're not going to have another Thursdayton thing like we did last year, are we?

I'm not even up for that...

I'm sure we'll be hearing about some new 3rd party efforts throughout the week. Nintendo didn't even mention all of their own DS games in the conference!

The list of first party games is pretty overwhelming. Hotel Dusk has an interesting look, I'll have to check that out. Too bad there isn't a new Game & Watch Gallery game - I loved that series!

EDIT: Also kinda curious that there was no mention of that Wario game. And no Mother 3

So what are Namco, Konami and Capcom up to? Do they have conferences or anything?

I wonder about the new Pokemon game too - Diamonds and Pearls right? It looked good when it was revealed, but we haven't got much information about it since then..

Didn't hear anything about Boktai. Kojima showed off an intriguing little game called Lunar Knights. Apparently you play as a vampire with upgradable weapons in an isometric action game.

Yep, thursdayton has been confirmed with the Luigi Code. Oh yes, I've found all the hidden messages...hidden in the spongebob squarepants footage....you just need to calculate the area of spongebob's face...then add that to the numbers you get when you convert the itlacized text throughout the conference properly....then convert that into binary....then overlay that ontop of footage of Miyamoto conducting at the exact right time....yes....it all makes so much sense....

*maniacal giggle*

Now that you mention it... where the hell is Sega in all this? We've got a list of 70 or 80 upcoming DS titles from Nintendo's press site, and the only Sega game on it is Charlotte's Web. Their own E3 presence has virtually no Nintendo system offerings. A multiplatform Super Monkey Ball coming to the cube and an original Super Monkey Ball coming to the Wii... that's it.

Seriously.. I really expected Sega to get behind the Wii. It's the one console that can truly bring the arcade experience home because of the controller, and so many of Sega's games have that arcadey style..

Yes, the big N is done for E3.

Over the next few days we'll just be reading hands-on impressions to weed out the bad games from the lineup of 27 that Nintendo said would be there.

Well I was starting to get into the hype, but knew it all would be a big hurry up and wait proposition.

I almost think the previews will get me just as excited as the conference did today, if not moreso. I am DYING to find out more about Super Mario Galaxy (Or SMG... which is what I call Sarah Michelle Gellar... anyways...) and I look forward to everyone waxing poetically about how awesome Metroid Prime: CORRUPTION!!! is. And then there's the onslaught of DS games that will get talked about that didn't during Nintendo's conference. We've still got a couple of wonderful days ahead of us.

On the Pokemon front, I'm quite disappointed that there doesn't appear to be any of the new games on display.  When we got here, we heard rumor of a pretty extensive Pokemon section in the booth....

After seeing the press kit, it is all most likely for the mysterious dungeon games.  Bummer that we won't see our first taste of the latest rpgs yet.

capcom revrealed info on the resident evil wii, but nothing on the ds yet... i want some mega man info.  I thought resident evil ds sold pretty good, well not good enough to announce RE 2, or RE 3.  I thought the ds would be RE port machine, but now my dreams r shattered, im going to go jump out my window...

If they sucked me into buying Trozei, chances are they'll suck me into buying the mystery dungeon game too. I'm all over anything with the replayability that "randomly generated dungeons" offer. Playing as a Pokemon? The description in the press release says "conversing" with other Pokemon. How cool would it be if it's Mic-enabled and you actually have to speak like a Pokemon to progress?

I'm all about sitting on a park bench someplace saying "Pika" in an upset tone to progress in a game.

Well....there is an original Sonic game coming to the Wii...

I'm sorta surprised that there aren't any 1st party games for GBA

If you guys would've cracked the Luigi Code in time, you all would've known that!

Now to start searching for the hidden date of the big reveal of Miyamoto's new IP. I hear clues are hidden behind Wiimote battery covers....

Turns out we were both right. I did a little more reading on Lunar Knights (Which looks very cool btw), and apparently it IS set in the Boktai universe.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red is sort of a 1st party game.
