Title: Only in America... and Japan.
Post by: UncleBob on April 29, 2006, 02:44:05 PM
There's a series of billboards around here... I'm not quite sure what the purpose of these signs are, except for some kind of patriotism thing.

Basically, the left hand side looks something like a multiple choice test, giving four options with black, empty ovals to the left.  The fourth choice is always "All of the Above" and filled in with red.

An example of this is one that read:

Pro-Life
Pro-Choice
Pro-Wrestling
All of the Above

Then, the right hand side always says "Only in America".

Well, I saw one today that caught my eye...

Wright Brothers
Doobie Brothers
Mario Brothers
All of the Above

Heh...

What's that supposed to mean, "Doublethink: Only in America"?

Sounds like a 'clever' way of demonstrating freedoms of choice.

The freedom to choose to not support choice.

Nice to see Mario Bros getting some mainstream recognition once in a while.

We've been out of University, kid.  The NES came out 22 years ago.

Perhaps he meant the people who are just graduating from their doctoral programs. Doctoral programs in sign making.
