Title: "Return to Glory" article

We've spoken with several publishers and developers about Revolution product, and it has us looking at Nintendo's upcoming console is a slightly different light...We'd be lying if we said everyone around the GameDaily offices had been enthusiastically awaiting the new, "mainstream" Revolution. However, after talking to some important people and shaping up our own version of the Revolution launch, we've come up with a scenario for Nintendo returning to the top.

If even a fraction of all this behind the scenes hype trickles down to the consumer, I'm happy.

Uhhh...it says nothing. Nice to see enthusiasm but it's a fluff piece, and a fluffy one at that.

true

But, even the fluff articles (by press who have seen the Revolution firsthand) are positive. For someone who went into a discussion with developers a skeptic to come out thinking Nintendo will gain the most marketshare this generation is intriguing.

Also, at this point, everything about the revolution is fluff.

It's really amazing how much positive feedback nintendo has been getting lately. It's not all good of course, but if you think about how things were with the Gamecube; there were good things said about it from developers of course, but no one can forget all the predicted doom and gloom for Nintendo.

Nintendo has said that they havn't been hiding the Revolution hardware from developers like they did with the N64 and GCN, and so far it seems like a gigantic pluss. If the controller is as great as they are making it out to be, and this Launch is as amazing as we are all expecting(at least im expecting) then maybe Nintendo will be respected among the general populace again... As well as gaining huge and amazing sales.

Interesting fluff piece. It ignores the point about non-gamers. They mention younger gamers, but somehow forget the whole non-gamer approach that Nintendo has ben indoctinernating us since TGS...

Oh well. Better than bad press.
