Title: Who makes the screens for Nintendo's portables?
Post by: nemo_83 on February 24, 2006, 07:57:30 PM
I tried searching for an answer but no luck.  Does anyone know?  Who does Nintendo partner with for their screens for Micro and DSlite.

I think it's SHARP that supplies Nintendo with the LCD screens.

Go here http://www.nintendo.com/techspecgba , for the Micro it specifically says on the Screen specs that the manufacturer is Sharp. However I haven't found anything about who makes the DS screens, which is quite wierd if I ssay so myself.

Sharp could be creating a 3D screen for the Revolution.

Yeah, I read your post on the other thread about the last secret, not happening IMHO.

It's a long shot, but if the reason Revolution is so stripped down and small is a 3D display packed in, then Sharp would be the people they would most likely partner with.
