Title: reggie gets spikey
Post by: wandering on February 18, 2006, 06:18:12 PM
So I'm browsing about on my dvr, and find a show called 'game head' on at 12:30am (20 minutes from now) on spike. I click for a description, and the only descritption given is "Reggie Fils-Aim"!

What mysterious reggie-related goodness does spike have in store? I have no idea, but, exciting!

Reggie will go all Chuck Norris on them for misspelling his name, of course.

Now now. He'll do it in 29, the man still needs a minute to take their names as they cower in fear.

Oh sh

Ah well, I never liked my name anyway. Actually, I detest it. Stupid username. Thanks Reggie!

Though J Allard STILL > Reggie

Well, looks like Reggie kicked considerably more than 50 asses.

GDC and E3 better be extremely special if we're supposed to subsist on promises and information until Zelda comes out.

Since the Zelda news is being discussed elsewhere, I might as well break down the only other important things that were revealed in the show:

1. Reggie really does destroy xboxes and ps2s with eye-lasers in real life: "They don't let me into retailers anymore because I keep blowing up the competition."
2. Reggie throws banana peels while kart racing (the interview was conducted on a go-kart track).
3. Reggie thinks the competion is offering the same thing next gen, "except on steriods."
4. The reggielution will be televised.
5. There's a mario opera?
oh, and:
6. 'The revolution is coming out this fall, right?' 'Wait until may 9th!'

On a related note, what kind of mentally defective garbage was that video gaming show that came on before the Reggie show? They misspelled Soul Calibur and had somebody "playing" Death Jr on a DS.

ahaha, I couldn't sit through more than 2 minutes of that thing. It's like it was borne out of Jack Thompson's fantasy for what gamers are like.

What's may 9th? Is anything scheduled for then?

You *are* joking, right?  Right?

(If you aren't, Ninty's E3 conference, 9:30 AM...)

Doy.

I read it as march 9th for some reason. Even when I typed it out.

Reggie is the awesomest.

Oh, one more thing from that interview is making the rounds on the internets: the current ds model will be phased out before the end of this year. Not that surprising.
