Title: Gamecube not reading disk. what the heck?
Post by: hydralisk17 on February 16, 2006, 02:09:39 PM
Hey everyone. Ok, so I bought a used Resident Evil game the other day at EBGames. The game was really scratched, and when I played it in my gamecube it was kind of skipping. So, EBgames garuntee they give you a new game if the one you bought doesn't work, right. Anyway, so I went there today to pick up my brand new copy of Resident Evil. and when I came home today to play it, i popped in the disk, but for some reason the Gamecube can't read the disk or something. I don't get it though, because the 2nd disk works perfectly fine, it's only the first disk that one work on it, and also all my other games work too. Both disks are brand new with NO scratches on them. What gives??? and does anyone know of EBGames will give me another new copy of the game or do something else about it? .. thanks.

It sounds to me like you just have another bad disc if all of your other games are working.  I would just talk to EB about another replacement.  If the problem persists please go to this thread instead.
