Title: Are there any good artists here?

For a special but secret project, I am in need of a good artist.  One that can draw well, either by hand or with the aid of the computer, but they'd have to be able to emulate other people's styles as close as possible.  Or at least one certain style...

It may partially give it away but the project requires someone who can draw Maverick-type Reploids that look as if they were official artwork as done by Capcom, as they have done for each of their Mega Man X games.  They would also have to be able to do more than one picture a week (on average) until the project is done, which has a set deadline, for reasons that will become evident by the nature of the project.  Like THAT doesn't give it away.  

If you know any artist, or are one, or know how I can find one, please respond to this topic.

This isn't considered spam, is it?  I'm just asking for help...

Um...if some money is required and I feel like I can't find the same quality for less, than I suppose I would consider it.  I would discuss that with the artist, though.  Are you such a person?

If you want sprites you could look at the tons of spritecomics out there, they have some great spritework that looks as if it was made by Capcom itself.

It's not the sprites I'm concerned about...it's corresponding hand-drawn artwork that I need.

I was curious about the characters that you refer to, and it was quite difficult to find some images other than sprites. Most of the artwork spans different styles, ranging from Dragon Ball Z to Sonic. Is that what you are looking for? Do you have a good source of images to refer to? Look at the Spiderman Contest talkback thread to see an example of art from my head. Having source material to refer to would make it easy enough to emulate a particular style.

I looked in the Talkback section and found one old topic about a Spider-Man contest, but I didn't see your art there.  Got any samples anywhere else?

That's your original artwork?  Wow.

Okay, I might be able to use you...if only the official artwork of the various Mega Man X bosses were easier to come by.  (I have a Nintendo Power poster still on my wall when Mega Man X was practically announced, and other old issues I have should cover X 2 and X 3 as well.)  You'd think Google's ImageSearch could come up with something, sheesh...

How much do you want for eight to ten pictures by the end of March?  Maybe we should conduct business via email...

I was never a Mega Man fan so I do not have any artwork, and I did the Google Image search without much luck. Maybe when I get some more info on what you're looking for I'll be able to find more.

You can email me at 'bustin98 at gmail dot com', let me know your game plan and I'll see what I can do. Let me know size of artwork, format, media, whether you have poses in mind or not, ect....

Interesting stuff, though I've seen better styles of japanimation.  The bold outline style of the one is really not something I appreciate.
