Isn't The Office cancelled? I thought this was the last season...

No, man, quite the opposite. They moved it to Thursdays. Word is getting around.

I can think of at least three shows better than The Office. The show before it My Name is Earl (Jason Lee rules!). The Simpsons in its prime or not, and Family Guy. I watched the Office the other night right after My Name is Earl and The Office pales in comparison. Jason Lee should have won that Golden Globe...

Hmm. . . No. You fail. Moving on to next subject.
Here's a question:
How great is the office?
A) The Office is my daddy
B) Reason for living
C) I pray at the alter

I think you have to have reached a certain point in your life to appreciate The Office. The mundane job with inane coworkers phase of life.

Clearly I have landed in an alternate universe where Arrested Development does not exist.
Or you just haven't watched AD.

....or Monty Python's Flying Circus, for that matter.
The british version of The Office is great, though, don't get me wrong.

Arrested Development = very good.
Monty Python = got old after I heard 500 different people quoting them
The Office = simultaneous relations with Scarlet Johannson and Natalie Portman on a 10 story stack of thousand dollar bills (and no paper cuts).

At least you mentioned the british version. Watching the American afterwards it sorta drops the ball a little in comparison. It's still good though.

I own the British version. And while I may be the sports editor, I am a big softie. The ending of the series gets me every time.

Actually it is getting cancelled, Carrell has a movie he's gonna work on. Ending in March. Who knows, it may be back, it may not be.
I live to watch The Office? Or I watch The Office to live?

Well then, you better go and tell NBC that they cancelled it, Kirby.
NBC gives `The Office` a third go-round Jan 27, 2006, 1:39 GMT
LOS ANGELES, CA, United States (UPI) -- Season Two has been a charm for NBC`s 'The Office' and being moved to 'must see' Thursday night hasn`t hurt the comedy`s ratings, either.
The show has become a key player in the Thursday night lineup and recently received a 22-episode third season order from NBC, USA Today reported Thursday.

The link's in the West Wing thread, I'm too lazy to get it.
""The Office" will go off the air at the end of March so star Steve Carell can film a movie.."
EDIT: Wait, maybe I'm not reading that correctly...maybe that just means the season's ending in March and the next season's still on track.
My bad.
(Or I could be right, whatever)

The British version of the Office is spectacular. However, 13 episodes of spectacularness does not and cannot compete with either The Simpson's or Seinfeld's multiple seasons of spectacularness. The American version is definitely one of the better shows on the air right now, but not "best show ever" material.

Quote Monty Python = got old after I heard 500 different people quoting them
A thing's quality does not drop because it is referenced/spoofed. If that were true, Star Wars would be considered one of the worst films of all time. FAIL. Monty Python is still Ace.
....but let's assume you're right, and we're living in a world where aces are low instead of high. Fine. You think you have the winning hand with your The Office. I'm sorry to do this, but in my hand, I have Twin Peaks. GAME OVER.

Really funny is The Office but the best show is 12+12.
