I'm on either these forums or my own for a good chunk of the day while at work...

I'm guessing I really shouldn't be...

I guess me too, but forums are better for reporting news that actually news sites.

They track my internet time and where I go on the net at my job.  People who "make the list" have  the pleasure of chatting with a supervisor.

When I had my old job, I goofed around on the internet a lot during the day.  Now that I work from home, I goof round the internet more, and actually do more work too, so it's a win win for me.

We have websense at work, its a pain in the ass. It blocks anything that the sys admin tells it to and game/gaming happens to be one of the many things that are blocked at work

along with proxy incase anyone didn't think I tried to get around it.

I used to have websense, now we have a different system that's not as thorough.  All it does to PGC is block the ads.  I tend to mess around on here too much too.  I've been trying not to login to the forums as often!

I didn't get in trouble (yet), but sometime this afternoon they blocked access to this site and other real gaming sites.    No more PGC Foruming at work!

Apparently my site isn't a "real" gaming site, despite my getting my business license for it today...I could still access that...I guess they're saying my site is too small for anyone to have noticed.

Can you tell how they blocked it?  A lot of popular sites were blocked by their domain on our old version of websense.

At my work they're so busy just trying to keep up with customers that they'll never notice I'm on here unless it's a complete coincidence.
