Dammit! I loved this show (and political dramas in general, but something about Commander in Chief just doesn't do it for me). And this is apparently old news but new to me...in that article, it mentions that The Office is ending in March? That's terrible! After ending those two shows, the only mildly entertaining show NBC's going to have left is My Name is Earl.
Well done, NBC! Fix the worst season in TV history by pulling the plug on your two best shows (I guess they can't do much about Carell needing to star in a movie...) and filming 12 new episodes of Joey! Yes!

haha, about f***ing time!!! =D Sorry about that, I just hate the show, thought it was more boring that watching grass grow. The show was out of place, as far as I am concerned. Glad to see it go. ^__^

It really hasn't been good since season 4, and hasn't been AMAZING since 2 or MAYBE 3. But 6 and 7 have been considerably better than the horrifically bad 5.

I approve of this decision.

Seasons 1-4 of the West Wing was some of the finest television ever broadcasted. Since then, not so much. I said goodbye to this series two years ago. And how can you carry on without Leo?

There was never a good season of West Wing. The best episode will be the one that comes on after the season finale. Hahaha, it sucks that bad that the only good one will be another show that takes its place.
Watch House MD. and The Closer instead. One episode of either is better than seven years of the West Wing.

...okay, what about The Office? That's kicking the bucket and none of you are even mildly disappointed.

I'll miss The Office. Its British counterpart is superior, but the American version isn't half bad.

I never watched The Office. The commercials for the show never made me want to watch it, and that is the purpose for them too!

Does "off the air" mean cancelled? I think The Office is doing okay ratings wise, maybe they're just ending the season early for Carrell. I hope so anyways.
Then again... the British version (the better version) only lasted a total of two seasons...

The UK version was only 2 seasons purely so it would end when it was at it's peak - which it did.

I'm going to say that "off the air" is the same as cancelled, but not in the same sense. Some shows decide to go off the air, like Sienfeld, and some get cancelled like Girls Club, and what feels like 90% of new shows.
