About the weird hairless thing, I followed the trail of where it originated that it was a sloth to http://dailyhuff.com/post/188892251/good-news-this-post-about-a-very-strange, but watch out you working folk, there's foul language.
Edit: When I meant weird hairless thing, I did not mean a single one of those videos above. :/

I swear I heard the shrimp say "haduken" just before it took out that other shrimp.

Only that giant rat will maul you and eat you alive. It might even chase you and tip your car if you try to run. not a giant rat you want to **** with. just give him the honey and play dead. fetal position usually works best.

Post by: ShyGuy on November 09, 2009, 02:33:45 AM
Great. Thanks, Shyguy, now I won't sleep tonight because I'll think spiders are in my bed. *SHIVERS*
About a month back I woke up in the middle of the night and there was something crawling accross my forehead. I jumped out of bed but could not find it. Took me a very long time to go back asleep.

Not the biggest I've seen in the wild, but it makes me glad I'm wearing shoes!
The spider I saw in my garage a few years ago was as big as a shoe. I didn't have a digicam at the time, and I couldn't take a picture of it anyway cuz it was on the doormat between me and the door into the house and I had to get thru somehow but I was IMPOTENT WITH FEAR.
Srsly, lay a CD/DVD down on the floor or in front of you. That's what it's leg span was like. In. My. GARAGE.

I didn't realize that spiders got that big in Sac-Town.
The biggest spider I saw in the wild was the garden spiders we used to get in our vegetable garden as kid. I think the biggest had a leg span of about 2.5 inches. They liked to string their webs between our tomato plants and sit in the middle.
this is what they looked like: (http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k302/shyguy70/spider.jpg)

Quote
Baloo the bear, Leo the Lion and Shere Khan the tiger have the most unusual and unlikely friendship between them.
Rescued eight years ago during a police drugs raid in Atlanta, Georgia, the three friends were only cubs at the time and barely two months old.
They had been kept as status symbol pets by the drug barons.
Delivered to the Noah's Ark animal rescue centre in Locust Grove, Georgia, the decision was made to keep the youngsters together.
"We could have separated them, but since they came as a kind of family, the zoo decided to keep them together," said Diane Smith, assistant director of the Noah's Ark zoo.
"To our knowledge, this is the only place where you'll find this combination of animals together, they are our BLT, (bear, lion and tiger).
I want them as pets, along with a python and a pet shark. Then those damn kids will stay off my lawn.
