Title: OFFICIAL TONY HAWK TOURNAMENT WITH PRIZES!

Alright, I have just created a tournament for Tony Hawk American Sk8land and it is well underway. I talked to the moderators on the official site and they said that they'll be happy to help sponsor the tournament by getting and shipping out prizes. Here is part of the e-mail I received from the moderator AgoraMike:
Quote As for the tournament, I'm all for it! We can probably help out with prizes and fulfillment (sending things out), so if you're willing to run it that would be great. We'll support it as much as we can. If it works out well, we'll even announce it on the DS.

It's great to see they are being so supportive of it over there, if I had the game i'd participate. Hopefully i'll get it soon.

Ha ha ha... Anyway, I was also amused to see that this topic got bumped a little over 2 hours after it was posted. Clearly being near the top of the page isn't good enough for Moellenium, it must be AT the top at all times.

Why does it even matter? You're pretty much the best player in the world and will win the prizes anyway.

Let's quit with the bumping.
Nevertheless, he's dead serious about this tournament, and he's been contacting me for additional support. I have also been in touch with the Mike guy mentioned above, and we've decided that he will acquire prizes (he has a more direct relationship with Activision than I do), and I will help promote the tournament with a posting on PGC. It is, after all, rather significant as the first sanctioned online tournament on the DS.
I hope he will recuse himself from the tournament, though, seeing as how he is so heavily involved in its organization.
