Title: Black or White DS
Post by: GuardianXF on December 10, 2005, 06:55:55 AM
Okay so I'm in the market for a new DS, and I'm going to import one. And the trouble is, I can't decide if I should get a white one or a black one. The white one would only be good if it was like iPod white, and I've heard the black one isn't that cool. Has anyone seen the two colours in person? Because I need to decided soon.

P.S. That last post I did like a minute ago was a mistake, I'm not used to the Return key not inserting a line.

Usually it does. Something must be broken with your browser.

Haven't touched them in person, but the pictures on lik-sang make the black DS look like a very dark flat gray (reminds me of a sega system) and the White DS doesn't look as glossy as an Ipod.

Betwixt the two which would you personally recommend?

Well, I was leaning towards the black one to match my cube and gba, but it still hasn't been released in the US yet, so I picked up a platinum one (with the metroid demo) at Target under the $99 deal.
I didn't want to import a DS because I was afraid of possible warranty problems.

hmm, I want a black DS. Not because I like black particularly (I don't) but because playing with a silver DS is like how I'd imagine it'd be to watch a widescreen movie with bars that are bright white instead of black. The DS just has too much distracting real-estate around the screens for bright colors to work well.
