Title: Aggressive Inline, worth $5?
Post by: Revelade on November 17, 2005, 05:40:14 PM
Yeah, $5 doesn't hurt, but I quit THPS at 3. I'm sick of doing different tricks only because they are different and serve no other purpose. Tricks are tricks in real life because they are SO HARD TO DO. You don't have a feeling of accomplishment when doing tricks in these sorts of games.

It's only $5 and has some high scores, but if it's just another THPS, I think I'll pass and not waste my money.

I wanna say AI was designed to take advantage of the success THPS was generating at the time and it is likely very similar.  Usually I'd say that any game is worth 5 dollars but if you have such an aversion to 'easy' trick games, Aggressive Inline is probably not for you.

It's not jsut anotehr THPS.
Aggressive Inline got rid of time limits alltogethor. So long as you were still earning fist and pulling off tricks you could keep playing. This way the levels are much longer. Also it didn't have the rubbish stat upgrades that Tony Hawk has. If you grinded alot, your grinding ability would go up by itself, jumped a lot you jump would go up.

Every game is worth $5

Truth.

It's not a bad game, just turn the soundtrack off. FOREVER.
