Title: Holy crap Trauma Center
Post by: S-U-P-E-R on October 25, 2005, 02:50:42 PM
This game is pretty hardcore.  I'm working on the 3rd TRITI surgery and it's hard as balls, seriously. If anybody has any good protips, please share.

I've gathered:
- the sharper the star you draw, the more surgical bullet time you get
- new pieces of the TRITI spawn when there are two thorns on that side AND you lift a piece out; yank thorns elsewhere to make sure it's safe before you lift pieces out
- your DS may be due for a stylus recalibration through the system menu
- the giant E3 mario kart stylus hurts my hand less than the tiny regular one
- a separated TRITI will grow in all directions IF it has at least one thorn

Update: I just beat it and highlighted the important part

This game is hard.  I'm some where towards the end of chapter two and having a difficult time.

Out of curiosity, do you ever have problems with touch screen not working?  I've noticed it happens most often when I try to suture.  Sometimes the game doesn't recognize that I'm touching the touch screen.  It only happens with this game and only infrequently, so I don't think it's a problem with the actual touch screen.

I think it happened to me once or twice when I was trying to clamp big wounds - a bug a guess?

Has anyone been able to beat the first bonus stage that you unlock after beating the game? That's gotta be the hardest challenge ever put in a game. Ever. Ikaruga is for pansy asses. Trauma Center is where the real challenge is at.
