Title: Problems changing my email adress in the Profile section

I would be gratefull if somebody in this section of the PGC Forums can help me to change my existing registered emailadress as it is shown in my profile. Each time I attempt to change it, I get the message "a user already exists with that emailadress". Yet, that is impossible! I am the only one who has that emailadress, so how do I get around that problem and change the emailadress there now (nolonger in use) over to the one I want instead?
Any help is much appreciated!

You're probably registered on PGC forums twice. Try remembering what else you might have setup for a username/password and then change your e-mail on that account and then change it on your current account. Or maybe one of the admins will be nice enough to look it up if you let him know what e-mail address you want to use.

go to forgot password and find out who use your email adress

I would be wary when changing your e-Mail address. When you do it sends a new password to the new address, but when I did this no e-Mail was sent. I was lost without access to the forums because my password had cahnged yet I had no idea what to.
My friend who wanted to join the forums didn't receive the confirmation e-Mail with his new password. I am not sure if this is an existing problem though. Maybe PGC should investigate.
Back on topic: Why would you need to change your address? Do you want incase someone wants to contact you? Apart from that I would so no real to change it. I have only recieved 1 e-Mail from PGC and that was when my thread was moved. Unfortunately there it also received no replies.......

I always get an email when ANY thread is moved, by now I've flagged "Planet Gamecube Thread Moved" as a spamfilter keyword.

I think you only get an e-mail when a thread is moved and you've posted at least once in said thread. Since you post a lot KDR, you probably get a lot of these notices.
