Title: Mario Sports idea
Post by: raptorspike on August 29, 2005, 08:38:48 AM
I see that there was a pattern going in the first two mario sports titles. They were mario-fying sports that youth generally don't go for (golf and tennis). I was thinking (seriously) that they should have Mario Polo. Mario and the crew could ride yoshies. It would be fun and funny!

How about a Mario Cheese Chasing?  It probably wouldn't sell too well outside of the UK though.

 ^ It's called Smash Bros.

That polo idea sounds awesome for a mini game within Mario '128'. Multiplayer would be awesome.

Wouldn't that be a little too similar to Mario Strikers?  I don't know the rules of polo, but I understand that it involves passing to your teammates and shooting at a net.

polo is more of a mutant form of field hockey, but played on horses!

Hockey falls under that description, too.
