Nintendo of America has also confirmed a special GameCube system bundle with the game.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness Means "Extra Deal" For Fans Who Reserve Early    

Starting Aug. 28, Pokemon fans who reserve a copy of Pokemon(R) XD: Gale   of Darkness for Nintendo GameCube(TM) at participating retailers will receive   a custom Nintendo GameCube vinyl skin featuring characters from the game.    

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness will be available Oct. 3.    

For the dedicated Pokemon fan, there will also be a Limited Edition Bundle   featuring a Nintendo GameCube system and controller, Pokemon XD: Gale of   Darkness and a Limited Edition Pokemon XD Face Plate.    

Pokemon was introduced in North America in September 1998 and has since   generated more than $15 billion in worldwide retail sales.  Last year's   Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen sold more than 2.6 million combined.    More than 140 million Pokemon video games have been sold worldwide.    

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness is Rated E for Everyone.

Sure. NOW we start getting face plate love. I think Nintendo Power should start including some face plates that've only shown up in Japan and Europe.

And a GC skin as a pre-order bonus? I think it would've been far cooler to get another bonus disc with another downloadable Pokemon (like Jirachi in the Colluseum bonus). Oh well, it's free, I can't complain too much. :/

If the bundle is 100 bucks and the game is 50, and it comes with the skin as well as a face plate, i'll be buying a second system.  ^^
