For me I am quite happy with my nintendo DS, I bought a PSP but ended up selling it because it felt like a mini PS2 instead of a handheld. At the start I enjoyed Feel The Magic, and SM64 DS though I have to admit I wasn't thrilled with the lack of games. Now that several months have passed I think DS has turned into a quality handheld with a great selection of good games, whether it be Pac Pix, WarioWare Touched, Kirby Canvas Curse (A very unique game), and from what I hear Bomberman along with Yoshi Touch N Go are quality games. Yes Nintendo DS did start out slow, but I think it is starting prove itself with games like those that I've listed.

Besides THOSE problems, I'm loving my DS tremendously. So far I've got SM64DS, WW Touched, Yoshi's Touch and Go, Band Brothers, Polarium, and Kirby Canvas Curse, and I love them all. The DS is really starting to pick up pace here in the States too: Bomberman was just released, Meteos next week, Nintendogs in August, and Mario Kart and Animal Crossing sometime this fall.

But I've been loving my DS and knew it was worth it before I even held it in my hands...I love each and every one of my games, and my current bouts with Bomberman and Kirby are only making my investment even more precious...

Those two games are the only ones I have, I haven't bought a new game since February, but that's not because they weren't there, it's because I can't afford anything right now, i'm broke.
When I get money i'll be sure to pick up Yoshi, Polarium and others i've missed. I'm still playing my DS though, it's an amazing system.

The lack of games have been a problem, but as KDR said, thats the price for early adoption.
That is all being rectified anyways, with the awesome games soon to be out.
Initally, I bought my DS for four specific games. Mario Kart, Sonic DS, Animal Crossing, and Final Fantasy IIIj. So I was prepared for a long wait.
Kirby will just have to tide me over til then.

Yet, I do not regret the purchase even for a second.
I love GBA games, you see, and the DS has been fantastic for my GBA experience.
Of course, I'm utterly entranced with the coming DS lineup, and many of those titles are vying to attack my wallet. It will start this week actually, because I will be purchasing Meteos....
In short, the GBA library coupled with the promise of the DS lineup has me more hooked on handhelds than I have ever been....they take more of my gaming focus than consoles these days.

I currently have Puyo POP Fever (great game), Yoshi: Touch and Go (my most played game), Feel the Magic: XXYX (fun fun fun), Goldeneye (bought today) and the Metroid Demo (less played).
My next buy will probably be either Bomberman or Kirby.

You know what? It's weird. Puyo Pop got bad reviews and I love it, so did Feel the Magic and Yoshi and I really really like my DS games now.
It's weird. The DS makes me feel like when I was in 1st grade, arriving home and running to my room to go and play Mario Bros. It's the same with the DS, only diference is that its now MY house.

I'm definitely satisfied with my DS. I originally had SM64DS and the Metroid demo (the latter I hardly played, and I probably won't get the full game). Mario was fun, especially the minigames, and I got all 150 stars (because I'm a completionist freak like that), but I was somewhat unsatisfied with it. It was a port, after all. But I received it with the DS as a gift, so I had no regrets.
Next was Warioware, and it was the first Warioware game I played. I enjoyed it, but it didn't last too long.
Then Yoshi, which was also fun but didn't last, as I'm never compelled to beat high scores. However, I played vs. mode for the first time yesterday (fifty rounds) and it was awesome.
Finally, I got Kirby. It's more than I expected it to be, which is incredible because I expected a great game. It was awesome from start to finish, on par with the Amazing Mirror (though Amazing Mirror had a longer main quest). I absolutely adore the game, it's tons of fun. And from here on out, the line up only looks to be getting better. I mean, Mario and Luigi 2? Hella yes.
So yeah, I'm satisfied with my DS. Can't wait to try out Meteos.

Most of the bad reviews from that game seem to stem from 2 viewpoints, it's either too much of the same for some, or the art style just turns them off due to it's overall "LOOK AT ME" saccharine loudness. Personally, I haven't played a Puyo game since Dr. Robotnik M.B.M. and Kirby's Avalanche so everything that they added made the game in numerous ways feel brand new to me. And I love the art style, the game itself is quite hyperactive and the artwork complements it really well. The only worrying spots are a little bit of the translations and the difficulty may put some off. Otherwise the game is ace and it's a shame some of the reviews crushed it the way they did.
Overall it's been an interesting run with the DS thus far. I don't know if it was the lack of games, or the fact that 2 of the ones I was looking forward to turned out less than spectacular. Personally I had no problem with games like YT&G and WWT, especially during launch since I had SM64DS, as long as I could look forward to a decent sized game around the corner that was good. Unfortunately that became a problem when Rayman DS turned out to be a craptacular port job and NFSU2 fell in the abyss as well, which was really an issue since I as anticipating this one. All the good previews it got and then it turns out to be just barely average in the end, but go figure it's EA. At this point, despite two bad apples so far I'm pretty content with the system. With the library of seven I currently have coupled with the games on the horizon things seem to continue to look up for it, and as far as I'm concerned that makes it a keeper.
BTW Toruresu, GET KIRBY! You will not regret it.
