Title: Does CNN know Atari went under long ago?
Post by: BranDonk Kong on June 18, 2005, 08:16:06 PM

I don't think the folks at CNN know that the "real" Atari tanked several years ago, and the "new" Atari is Infogrames. It is kind of funny though, Infogrames probably thought the Atari name would help them sell more crappy games...looks like it's not working.

Oh man, that's a priceless read. Seems that having to research a story fully is just too much work these days...

Thanks for the laugh.

Well, they DO have Nolan Bushnell so one could argue that Infogrames is indeed Atari.

EDIT: Hm, some research suggests that I remembered that wrong. Perhaps I confused Bonnell and Bushnell.

It's like we live in our own seperate world and everyone on the outside is just confused and unknowing of the things going on inside.
