Title: MOH:EA
Post by: bowwman on June 06, 2005, 09:15:15 PM
Oh my gosh ... I cant believe the reviews of this game from IGN and Gamespy ... DONT BELIEVE THEM!! ... I was on this game for 3 months as a tester ... personally I think its the worst MOH game yet ... if you wanna give the game a try, rent it at most ... but dont believe the hype .. cause, its just that, hype. (darn EA money bags) ...

Hey bowwman, I was just wondering when I heard about the game's release, what are you testing next?  If you can say.  Just curious!
Thanks for the warning.  I don't really have to worry as I'm not a war-simulator fan in the first place, but to hear that it's the worst yet is surprising.

Gamespy has a big fat warning next to the review. If you don't take "Exclusive" as meaning "don't believe us" hat's your fault.

Interesting.  I hate the formula of Frontline, and Euro Assault is supposed to involve more openness and strategy in the level design (things I actually want), so what exactly makes this the worst one yet?

Forget MOH. Forget Call of Duty. Brother in Arms: Road to Hill 30 is far superior to any of the the MOHs, better than COD. Not quite as open as one would like, but it a good fusion of Full Specturm Warrior and WW2 shooters. Somewhat under rated and under scored.

Well ... I probably shouldn't say much (yeah, Im still under NDA ... even us lowly testers) ... but I was suppose to be on a game thats From  a particular franchise that people used to Love ... ok not to subtle ... but you get the idea ... I might be put on B&W2 for a while though ...

I did spend like 2 or 3 weeks helping out on BF2 (well, technically I just played it ... that was pretty awsome) ...

But in the past I worked on GE:RA (I really did try to tell them what would make the game good ... but no, they wouldn't listen ... but I did try)
Also on the game boy advance game MOH: Infiltraitor ... fun little game.

Also worked at Activision for a time ... Spidey2 ... and a bit on X-men Legends (you know that whole leveling up in the danger room? ... yeah, that was my idea ...)

From Russia With Love? I think you can say that, the devs were talking about that in forums months ago. Didn't get to test Batman: The Dark Knight Returns? Our beloved source of misinformation (Gamespy) claims the game has potential...

Bingo, thats what Im on ... about batman ("begins" I asume is what you mean?) no, didnt test it, although I did see the E3 demo before the show and well, it looked rather impresive (for a batman game) ... Im picking it up when it gets out (woohoo company discounts!) ... I say definately give that game a try.

Ah, yes, it was "begins". I remembered something about coming and "the dark knight returns" is the storyline mentioned most often in conjunction with Batman...

Seeing as how its based off the new movie "Batman Begins" ... it only makes sense for the game to have the same title .. heh ...
